Oxidation shows up as a hazy, whitish film that leaves chalk on your hand and makes dark hull colors look washed out. It is surface degradation, not dirt, so it has to be removed mechanically.

How this gets quoted

We cannot price oxidation removal from a description alone, because the amount of work scales with the size of the boat and how far the surface has gone. Send the boat type, approximate length and a short description of the condition, add photos if you have them, and we will quote the work for your boat specifically.
